Position Overview
The Technical Operations Specialist will work closely with the project management and marketing teams to oversee the execution of various technical and development projects. This role involves managing technical issues on split tests, investigating live page and link issues, and collaborating with outside tech and development vendors to ensure seamless operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation, be detail-oriented, and proactive in troubleshooting and implementing quality assurance measures.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Management: Coordinate and oversee technical and development projects, ensuring all deliverables are met on schedule and within scope while collaborating effectively with project management and marketing teams.
- Quality Assurance: Develop, implement, and adhere to quality assurance processes for all projects, web pages, and digital platforms to ensure the highest standard of functionality and user experience.
- Backend Health Checks: Regularly conduct backend health checks on web pages, websites, and links, identifying and resolving any issues to maintain optimal performance.
- Technical Issue Management: Manage and troubleshoot technical issues on split tests and investigate issues on any live pages or links, collaborating closely with internal teams and external vendors for timely resolution.
- Vendor Collaboration: Work with outside tech and development vendors to align on project goals, troubleshoot technical challenges, and ensure seamless integration and delivery of vendor-supported features.
- CRM Management: Manage customer relationship management (CRM) systems, pulling essential reports, monitoring system performance, and troubleshooting freezes or other issues as needed.
- Data Reporting: Utilize a working knowledge of data reporting tools to pull, analyze, and share insights that drive improvements and support decision-making processes.
- Documentation: Maintain clear and concise documentation of all processes, project statuses, and reporting metrics.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in project management, particularly in technical or development environments.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with the ability to troubleshoot minor front-end issues.
- Strong understanding of quality assurance principles and hands-on experience with backend health checks for websites.
- Experience managing CRM platforms and interpreting data insights effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and experience managing technical issues, especially on split tests and live pages.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external vendors.
Preferred Skills
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar qualification.
- Experience working in direct response marketing
- Proficiency in using project management software such as Asana, Clickup, or Monday.
